Anyone doing the WAM day next week? I'll be along in the Caterham. Looking forward to trying the new layout too - I believe the day is split - morning on trad circuit, afternoon on the new one.

Yes, I'm there in the ZR 160 along with a mate in an Elise. There's 220k miles split between our 2 K-series engines but still looking forward to it.

Sorry chap. Only just saw this. We're you the yellow or orange mg? Assume the blue s1 was your mate. Did you have a good day?

I was in the yellow one, along with my mate in his S1, which passed 123k miles on the day. I think this is you in the back ground?

Had a great day and once it dried up I got in to a really nice flow. Surprisingly the ZR was very evenly matched with the Elise (120bhp) until my brakes started wilting toward the end. I liked the track a lot, it's just such a shame it's a 400 mile round trip for me.

Hope you had a good day - I don't think we were ever out on the track at the same time? By the way, I saw a crow carry off some of your lunch in case you were wondering what had happened to it.

Ah - both great looking cars. I'd have either in a heartbeat. I think I saw the Elise once on track, but not you. Good to have the mighty k-series thumping round! Mind you, I took it fairly easy and did about five or six sessions max, so actually only saw a few people more than once. I guess the extra weight of the MG starts to show after a while. I enjoyed the old track, but really gelled with the drying new track, so can't wait to get back there later this year. Got to tick off a few other tracks first though, Donny next and hopefully Mallory Park too, but about two hours away for me.

Luckily for me I have family in the area, so I have a good long drive in the morning, but then stay the weekend. I couldn't do 400 miles plus a trackday, no matter what car I was in! Mind you, it was bloody wet on Sunday, not perfect Caterham conditions, especially when I'd had a nice car cover to keep me dry on Friday!

And yeah. F*cking crows. I was looking forward to that steak slice!
