He sounds (as you would!) terrified until he gets through the traffic! Just waiting for a rear end!

fk. So if you see an accident pick your way through. Whatever you do don't stop until past accident.
I was about to ask what the hell he was doing getting out of the car - and then he jumped the barrier and started trying to warn cars which made sense.

Is that the done thing? (Neverbeen)
He did the right thing in trying to warn people, but I think should've got past the accident first. Someone doing just that (running down the grass waving his arms) stopped me and my mate coming over a blind crest into multiple cars crashed/parked at the side of the track (thankfully not in the middle of it) a few years ago.

We picked our way through and finished the lap (in shock) - track was closed for the rest of the day, couple of people were hurt I believe.

Daft place to pull up and added to the problem, tried his best to warn others but needed to be waving much further along to make any difference.

Another example of why you should avoid TF, been a few pileups in recent years now, the risk to fun is all one way for me now.

Only just spotted this thread but have seen the video before. A big part of the accident was caused by people just pulling up and blocking the track. Get the hell out of the way and past it. That clip with the Irish Porsche driver shows how close he came to being hit because the Skoda just stopped and blocked the gap left. I've seen it in other clips where drivers on the Ring seem all to quick to jump out of their cars for minor incidents, even when there's little reason for them to do so.

The Skoda was undriveable unfortunately, hence left in the middle of the track.
