Arriving similar time, booked on DN19 - no more spaces? Turn up to the briefing, they may be able to accomodate you...
The event sold out ages ago and I know Darren said there was a huge reserve list. Worth asking but I wouldn`t be surprised if you don`t get on. Unless someone drops out there is zero chance they`ll let you drive, he turns people away at every event to keep the numbers at the advertised level.Hope the weather holds out for you
Apropos of numbers etc. there was a note from Darren last night to say there will be restricted parking, which I am guessing may be something to do with the running event taking place on the track on Saturday.
Car's packed, just dropped into to office to get half a day's work done before heading up to the ferry.

For reasons beyond my control (ask me when you see me) half of the parking area will be closed on Friday from around midday. So, instead - T13 will be open and available all day, as well as the parking area around the Devil’s Diner. As you now - whilst T13 has only basic facilities it does have a fuel pump so I urge you to use this area if it is too busy elsewhere.
If you're not on circuit, would be considerate not to take up any of the parking near the circuit entrance/exit.Car's packed, just dropped into to office to get half a day's work done before heading up to the ferry.

Yes, do you know of him and the car? At moment, it's road legal and ready to go, just need to get some more time on track 1st.
I know him very well: I even drove your car briefly myself albeit just around a car park! I had his old MR2 for a while, I gave it back to him since I left Europe and we still keep in touch. He always has a great collection of cars around him.Well, the car was originally built by myself in 2004, crashed in 2010, rebuilt to time attack spec at the request of RustiEvo at large cost, sold on to a couple of owners, and eventually found its way back to me. The engine built by PK is an LS7 pushing out 650hp allied to a Quaife ZFQ, pushing along under 800kg.......unfortunately I won't be anywhere near the cars abilities, but I'm hoping it will cover some of my lack of talent at the irng this year. Long term the car will probably return to Andrew, but that's in the future. The car performs very well, brakes are bigger than standard, weight is lower, chassis is race focused, nothing is perfect but I didn't set the spec, maybe my ringmeister instructor will have a go to show what it can do

Wow - I never knew it was yours originally! If you happen to video it going round the ring, I'd be very interested to see it.Gassing Station | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
