Given the prevailing winds I shall be happy to pull up inside your garage - we are a silver 2002 Puma with a lovely scrape down the back wheelarch. Look forward to seeing you. Thanks.

What a fun day. Thanks everyone. Aside from a couple of individuals I thought we had a lot of well-behaved action. If my Puma got in anyones way I apologise - still learning, and we tried to get out the way as quickly as possible as many of you were really traveling! A terrific circuit with plenty of run-off so felt confident enough at all times.

A thank you to RadDog - having a garage made all the difference and that Focus is a smasher (in a good way!). See you at another day I hope.

Ooo go on who were the couple of individuals. (hope its not me! boxedin )

Yea i thought it was a very good day, nice mix of cars on track.

Saw you out in the puma a few times, you got much brake pad left? there was plenty of brake dust coming of the front pads when i was behind you in the braking zone at the end of 1 of the big straights. obviously driving the car to its limits thumbup

The hour stop for 2 red flags was abit annoying, i didn't see the crash though, and apart from that not many red flags at all i think!

No point being specific as it often just causes arguments but I did often find the same car hanging out on my left in the corners and I was passed on the right which was a surprise!

Didn't see the crash - the GTR looked intact from the angle I saw and everyone was okay thankfully. I hope it was not too expensive.

My car is entirely stock so I had best have a look at the brakes tonight. It drove home fine but you are right - we were pushing it on a bit, which is half the fun - no fear of financial penalty with that Puma!

Great day had here, found out how much STI's understeer but I'm sure it's my bad driving. I'll stick to bikes! My friend was passenger in the GTR which broke down on the pit straight and said everything just shut off and wouldn't come back on. Watching the Silverstone crew try to remove it had a ton of us clenched seeing it teetering in the air.

So pleased it wasn't damaged and he did well to park so close to an exit gate. Sorry I didn't get over to have a drive in your car - I was having too much fun in my (increasingly) warm car and the prospect of a wander down the pit lane outside of it held very little appeal. Saw you out there though - nice car.

Terrific circuit and I look forward to driving it again.

This was really sad, that GTR is very very dead, whilst not damaged, the bottom end has definitely gone, it was rattling like nobodies business and puffing out smoke, and not even turning over. Really felt for the guy frown

The crash was just in front of us, it was the black Belgian M6, completely stuffed into the barrier, both airbags gone off etc etc. And apparently as i've seen on FB, not insured either, poor bloke.

I was there in my blue Mk2 Megane that continues to impress me, it really is a great package! My good mate Andy was also there in the very tidy silver ep3 Civic.

I saw the Puma a few times, it was going very well, cracking amounts of lean in the bends, i admired the commitment lol

Fabulous day, definitely a few questionable driving standards but overall we all had an absolute blast!

That's a shame. I recall the car, but we left before that crashed so didn't know about it. Again I am pleased the driver was unscathed. I could not begin to fathom how I would feel had I lost such a car.

I remember your Megane too - I love those.

Good bunch of guys but a shame that they crashed while doing an extra lap under red flags.

Oh dear was that the case?

It was my first day with circuit days, liked the team there, and however whilst the opening piece around driving standards was pretty strong, there were some pretty shocking attitudes on track.

I had a fantastic day but a couple of scenarios did have me clenching some what, so i was on red alert most of the day

Sadly Silverstone was the last hurrah for the 100 pound Puma. Came out this morning to find out it had received what I can only imagine was a drunken kicking overnight. It will need a clutch soon enough so this has tipped it towards scrapping. Happy memories and I will see some of you on track with a new one!
