I was on the Ring at the same time as Dale's Club1000 Yaris and C1 back in October. Doesn't look too sketchy, although it wasn't too busy an event...

Abingdon is a good idea, no big straights or elevation to worry about but plenty of space for people to get past you. Motorsport Events run quite a tight ship when it comes to on-track etiquette so I can't see it being too unpleasant.

I pass that 1.0l convoy at 16:58!

Sharing with slow cars in the corners bothers me a lot more than slow cars down the straights. You may as well give it a go, but my guess is you'll soon get bored on most trackdays and be sucked into modifying and your money be better spent on something else. Now's the best time to try it though, while the track is likely to be slippery.

I suspect that it taking nearly 16 seconds to get to 60 you could be a bit of a mobile chicane so you will have to be careful what you go on track with.
Did a trackday with a racing 2CV in attendance. Thing looked like it was going to fall over in the bends. Dead slow on the straights. Corner speed was mental though. Plus braking distances were about 10-metres.

They guys who had it were having a blast.
