Porsche specialist Specialist Cars is holding a Porsche-only track day.

When: Thursday 26 May 2005

Where: Croft Circuit, near Darlington

Details: Starting 8.30 for briefing, open pit lane format for maximum track time for up to 40 Porsches.

A barbeque lunch is included in the price.

Prices: £250 inc VAT and lunch; £39.95 inc VAT and lunch for extra driver; £29.95 inc VAT & lunch for passenger

Instructors and technicians will be on hand and flying laps will also be given by a racing driver.

The picture "Croft from the air" only shows half of the Croft Circuit. It excludes the rest of the circuit that is off to the top right of the circuit. The good mixture of high, medium and slow speed corners is not apparent from the picture.

Arrrghh!! Gutted, can't make it. I'm at Spa (with 130 other Porsches) on the Tuesday and Wednesday.

I was wondering about getting a day like this organised at Croft, i.e. Porsche-specific with an open pit lane.

I went to a sessioned day recently at Croft and it reminded me that sessioned days suck. Open pitlane is definitely the way to go.
