Post something up when you're next heading there, I'll probably come along. My PFC 08's have about 70% left in them, but the discs are looking like they need to be replaced soon. Would certainly be fun to keep pushing the M2, but the inherent mass of the car and my "driving style".......or lack of mechanical sympathy! laugh is causing me to go through a set of front tyres every 1/2 track days.
Will do; getting camber plates in this Thursday (fixed camber still with the rubber isolator so should be ok on nvh).
Have you looked into an AP 2 piece rotor solution?..they cool much better and are significantly lighter but ultimately you’ll need to upgrade your calipers at the pace you are running; the stock calipers will not be up to the heat of repeated lapping (which is what we want to do!) I am upgrading mine (stock caliper on my car was used on Lambo Gallardo and R8 with steel discs but fry on the track with heavy use and take 4 pads for each caliper!) to the new AP 5660 6 piston race caliper. They will need more maintaining as no dust boots (stock dust boots are melted anyway) and possibly a bit of a rattle from the pads (solutions are available). There are kits available for the M2 (Essex parts in the US has bbk that sell through distributors here.
See you at the track soon (ish)...will let you know!

Thanks for all the tips! I'll get a pyrometer bought and see if I can sort it out, may just be a case of me staying out for too long and not doing decent cool down laps. If you need brake pads, give me a shout on Facebook! I get a decent discount on PFC, Ferodo and Stoptech gear smile

Funnily enough I'm actually at Snetterton on the 12th too (not sure as to whether I'll be tracking or not though). What camber plates did you go for? Mine are Millway ones and they're barely noticeable, especially if you put music on.
I’ll take an IR temp gun which isn’t ideal for monitoring tyre temp but you’re welcome to borrow it at Snett. Will also have pressure gauge and pump if you need it smile

Went for ground control plates, apparently they’re not noticeable on the road so fingers crossed. I’ve used others in the past and they were awful.

I’ll firend you on f’book, would be most appreciated to get some cheap pads, I’ve tried the brakes a couple of times in the road but they don’t give that high speed wallop I’d like, as you say it’s always the easiest way to make time.
You get the same cracking on AP discs as you do on stock discs, they last and well and perform brilliantly but I’m hoping the stock m2/4 brakes will work ok.
