Nurburgring 2019
Discussion
Evening all, I'm doing DN22 at the Ring at the end of September followed by one day at Spa, yay!
We're staying at Blaue Ecke in Adenau, and Radisson Blu in Spa, since booking I've had a change of plan and will now be trailering my track car - there's no way I'll get the tow car and trailer into the hotel car park at either place - so can anyone recommend somewhere to leave tow car and (enclosed) trailer overnight? Would it be foolish to leave them overnight in the ring overflow car park, and paddock at Spa?
Blaue Ecke suggested using the car park in Adenau next to the church but, from memory, I'm doubtful it would fit? I've emailed the TDOs for both days but hadn't had a response yet.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Cheers
Chris

Hello
Try Franky at the link below. He’s a top bloke, helped me out a treat once, He’s a business so I’m sure it wouldn’t be free. He’s at quiddelbach so between Adenau and the ring.
I have previously used Blau eckes other parking spaces that they rent out further up the side road to store the trailer as well, but it gets a bit tight further up that road.

Rent4ring have always been very helpful as well, but they are very busy there these days and the rear car park is on a slope.
Cheers Carl

If it's any help, we've managed to get our trailer into the car park at the Radisson Blu in Spa without much hassle a few times before... Otherwise when staying elsewhere we have left it in the top paddock at the La Source entrance.
Blaeue Ecke (in Adenau) are now saying they think the trailer and tow car will fit in their extra spaces up the side road as well, if they reserve 2 spaces, so will give it a go!
Radisson Blu - I know they have underground parking which clearly won't work, having a look on Streetview there seems to be a single row of parking spaces in front of the hotel, and some "dead ground" in front of that, I can't imagine they'd be keen on me occupying 6 or 7 parking spots sideways in the single row - how did you manage it?

Ah i apologise, i forgot there are two Radissons in Spa. We stay at the Balmoral which is slightly out of town. The car park here is fine for a trailer. We have never tried to park with a trailer at the Central Radisson blu. However just outside of Spa is the "Radisson Blu Balmoral" where we have stayed and parked a trailer without issues. griffchris said:

The Paddock at Spa is OK, I`ve left mine there before but it depends if it's still open when you arrive after the 2nd day of DN22. I've booked a guesthouse with enough parking for the trailer.
Not sure about the Ring, I stay at a guesthouse with a huge drive and park there. I have seen cars and trailers parked in the overflow carpark overnight, not something I'd choose to do if I'm honest. I guess if it's locked up and well secured then it should be OK ? You do see a lot of trailers parked up around Nurburg so perhaps it's not that big a risk.

Well organised and note its cheaper to join the club plus the reduced track day cost than pay for the day without membership.
Brilliant weather but that was until the RSR hire car M2 closed the track for three hours at Kesselchen. Has to be a 15-20k bill for track damage plus an M2 Comp as there is no way thats getting fixed.
Anyone on here know what happened?
