Lovely motor. Did you take this car over last year? I remember seeing one outside Miltek for the driver's briefing.

I took it in September for a TF weekend. Didn't do DN with it. It is a cracking car.

Looks ace! I'll keep an eye out - you shouldn't be difficult to spot at DN21.

Have a lovely time but remember your helmets whether on TF or a track day.

I hear you, however a lot of research suggests helmets in cars with airbags isn't a great thing.

Just booked my first ever trip to the ring for the first week of August, I'll be there from Friday 2nd - Monday 5th, looking forward to watching the VLN on the Saturday and hopefully getting in a few TF laps!

If anyone spots a blue Integra DC5 with a pistonheads sticker, give me a wave! I'll be sure to get out the way quickly too biggrin

Quick question too... I quite fancy doing a taxi lap whilst there, I've only really looked at Apex and the 600LT for €300, which I really quite fancy, but thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience / recommendations?

I can see where you are coming from with that. DN will require helmets or you wont get on the track. See you there!

There is a selection of different taxi laps available. Any of them you can book on the day. Best thing I would say is go look at the options available and choose what you fancy the most. Personally I would go for the Project 8 from Jaguar with Dale behind the wheel. But end of day go for what you best fancy.

I've done a couple of ring taxi laps with Apex and always been happy! Their f80 m3 is a weapon.

Just booked with Destination Nürburgring for the 20th May event. Not been since 2015 when the Mini I borrowed from my wife broke after 5 laps.
Had a great day enjoy various passenger laps and returning in a C63s cab which I am hoping will be entertaining!
Heading out on the Friday ferry from Newcastle to absorb the ring atmosphere ahead of Monday’s track day.
Look forward to seeing other PH’ers there.

I’ll be there again this year for DN21 in my Panda 100HP, to take the award for the car with least power!

I’ve got my new manifold and engine ECU on this time, to give me that extra 1.6mph down the Doettinger straight wink

I can remember being 'surprised' by your car on a cooling-down lap. You've got it running pretty swiftly. Great car.
