Much as I’d love to fang my Cerb around the ring it seems a bit brutal on the old girl so I’ve just bought a Trophy R specifically as the tool for the job. I’ll be mainly going around circles in that this year. First drive out was at brands last Saturday - it’s going to be a lot of fun...

Will keep and eye out for your cerbie though. Say hi if you spot the trophy r (white / red stripes)!

Really happy to see you support DN events with such aplomb

Seems like the perfect synchronicity!

Cars, watches, great people and track time... heaven! Have really enjoyed the partnership with Darren and the team at DN.

Perfect weather last year

Not a lot of accommodation left for this year

Yeah, I`m booked on it too smile

I `m attending all the DN events in 2020 biggrin That`s the first time I`ve been able to make them all for a while, the dates just haven`t been suitable for time off for the last few years.

I do enjoy going in April, but you never know quite what you're going to get

I've had a change of heart about Carfreitag and changed my dates to early May laugh

Did wonder about the DN day tbh but there's something I quite like about TF, despite the chaos.

On a side note, I was looking at booking a ferry crossing using my Vito as tow vehicle and the track car on a trailer. I've never done this before, but was shocked to find that changing the vehicle from Van to Car (Merc do a "car" version of the Vito as the V Class) but keeping the same dimensions lowered the price significantly!

Maybe of interest to some. Three of us that live and works at the Nurburgring have this year started a new Facebook group. Aimed at trying to be helpful, informative, and light hearted. We have established a nice group to be part of. Obviously as we all work there in some way we hope to be upto date and offer a fresh approach to new content relating to anything Nurburgring related.
Please register and join in.

Anyone else worried that the Circuit days double in Apr might not go ahead now? Spa is closed until Apr 3rd

What ever happens happens IMO.

The idiots moaning on FB about Circuit days not responding well sorry its the weekend and they probably know as much as joe public at the moment.

Circuit days will inform us when they know, they have to deal with the spa cancellations first, I mean we have a few weeks yet it could all be fine.....

I will continue to get the car ready regardless

As above, I wouldn't lose sleep over not going or not getting a refund. It's only money. People will die and would prefer to lose out on a trackday if they had the choice.

Personally, I've got a few dates booked including a holiday to Dubai in 10 days (likely cancelled), Ring in May with DN, 2500 mile Euro roadtrip in July and some other stuff.

I can't see much of it happening for us this year, but so long as I make it to July and get signed off the cancer system I'll be satisfied. You don't know you've been lucky until you're nearly dead.

Wishing you a continued recovery, lost my mother in law recently to cancer she was taken from us much too soon.
