That Peugeot is awesome. Never seen one before.

Here my latest, brought last April. Mental thing.

Awesome pic Jay, hope you are well.

Some seriously nice machinery on this thread. Here is mine, still trying to tame the beast on track though, big learning curve for me.

Bog standard MX5, simple and yet such fun. First track day this year will be back at Combe in April with Javelin

So track days are open? I was wondering whether or not to book.
They’re taking bookings, if your date is cancelled because of Govt restrictions you get a 100% credit. They had it pretty sorted in September at Combe so I’d feel safe going back if we’re allowed,

Clio Trophy for me with a few mods - polybushed, remapped, catcams, custom exhaust, ARB and recently refurb'd trophy suspension amongst other stuff. It's quick - especially in the wet!

It's not a track day car, but it has done track days at about fifteen different tracks, and at least a dozen track days at the Ring

It also has nearly 250K miles on the clock, and it's worth virtually nothing

I think you'd be surprised what they are worth now, even this one with high miles etc must be over £10k

My first Caterham. A K series fresh from an engine rebuild recently.

Sheer joy

I don’t think you can get batter value for money at £14k...but I suspect with the 420r having arrived, it’ll go to a new home later this year

Interesting did you buy this as an ex-Rent-4-Ring car. if so how did you go about it?

Thanks

This was my odd track car. Just sold it sadly frown

With another kid on the way, and the likelihood of trackdays lessened for a while, I decided I'd get a Clio or something when it all picks up again.

Posted mine on page 8 but have been messing with it since. Got bored being stuck in and went for the Komotec Ex460 upgrade, AiM2 dash, shift lights and bullet cam to compliment the other mods and added a bit more yellow to the front (and had my helmet done to match the car). Just need covid to feck off now so we can get back on track. If it doesn't I'll end up so bored the car will probably change again without going anywhere....

Got another set of wheels and a set of Avon cut slick wets too. First time I've used proper wets, blimey!

Here's my efforts. A Clio 182 which I've had for a number of years. These shots are from 2019 at Bedford, it's now been stripped down and rebuilt on ITB's since. Hopefully it will see a track again sometime soon.

I vaguely remember that being Tom Onslow-Coles livery when driving in the Clio Cup many moons ago.

Here's my BMW 130i at Donington. Only recently become a track car and the last 3 track days I've booked have all had to be rearranged.... can't wait to get back out on track.

It's stock other than the BMWP intake and exhaust plus track focussed pads and brake fluid.

Not the perfect trackday car in terms of brake / tyre wear, but a lot of fun nevertheless!

Yes its Ex R4R right place right time, as there's now a waiting list as long as the equator for the cars when they sell now lol Thankfully I know them well and its one of 2 in the uk. The other came in about 18 months ago to scotland and is being raced I think.
