Posted mine on page 8 but have been messing with it since. Got bored being stuck in and went for the Komotec Ex460 upgrade, AiM2 dash, shift lights and bullet cam to compliment the other mods and added a bit more yellow to the front (and had my helmet done to match the car). Just need covid to feck off now so we can get back on track. If it doesn't I'll end up so bored the car will probably change again without going anywhere....
Got another set of wheels and a set of Avon cut slick wets too. First time I've used proper wets, blimey!
Very nicely finished. Do you let your son drive this one?Got another set of wheels and a set of Avon cut slick wets too. First time I've used proper wets, blimey!

I once tried getting in an out of someone's Exige on a PH weekend run.
It was a snug fit and wasn't the most graceful of exits.

Maybe the majority of cars on a track day will be driven there. However a huge amount of cars are trailered to track days. My track car (bottom of page 1) is a completely stripped out car although it still has the potential to pass an MOT.
I have a huge amount of fun in it on the track, but it driving it to the track would be horrible and the main problem with that is there would be nowhere to keep the two spare sets of wheels, all my tools, air compressor, 60L of fuel, etc.
Racing is very expensive, I'm probably not going to win anything and the main reason I wouldn't race is that I don't want any car to car contact leaving me with big bills that were potentially not my fault. Car to car contact on track days is rare.
So I don't agree with your statement I have highlighted in bold and know many others who feel the same.
agreed

Good God no. Not that they're interested anyway. I'm fairly sure I'm adopted as my wife isnt interested in cars either.I once tried getting in an out of someone's Exige on a PH weekend run.

Having said that, although my two boys enjoy sharing the track days with me, they have zero mechanical knowledge, despite my attempts to get them interested.

Me and Mrs Leg went to the west coast of Scotland last summer in the spider, it was unusually warm and sunny so we had the roof off a lot. Earlier this evening she actually asked me if we had gone to Scotland in the other car, which isn't a convertible.
I am, alone.
The only upside is that she hasn't a clue what's in the garages or what I spend on cars and doesn't give a fig either.

My first ever track day was an Alfaholics day at Castle Combe. Hearing all the lovely induction noise of Alfa Twin Cams going past at full chat is a seminal memory; I had never been near a racetrack before and it made me realised I had hardly heard a nice car being driven properly for more than a couple of seconds at a time in the past.braddo said:
