Here is my stage 2 fk2 civic which I’ve been using on track lately, hardly a track car but holds its own!

28 in a year is impressive (and expensive). I thought I was doing well with 12.

Here is my Exige V6S at Cadwell last week. Didn’t get many laps in as the car had a (hopefully) silly issue.

Nope, he had a major health issue last year apparently and just decided to go for it! Hopes to do one a week next year. thumbup

If you are reading this, great going and best of luck!

Similar story for me. I only managed 8 so far this year...... I thought that was good.

Having the luxury of 2 track eligible cars, I'm going to try and improve on that next year. smile

Track focused vRS.

Straight out the box, Boxster S.

Me too! I've done 8 this year and have Bedford on the 20th, thats the most I've done consistently in a year, hopefully next year even more!

Very reasonable chance!

I've tracked TVR's with rollbars on scores of TD's but always thought that come an instance like that or less the bar would probably be ripped out at speed and that would be it.........Hence only 90% attack of my abilities smile
Not if the bar was properly secured to the chassis frame. But in an open car (or one with plastic top/roof), even a roll-over bar only offers limited protection.

This MX5 accident was started by another driver. Even 90% attack doesn't protect you from the actions of others.
Very true. I was never the happiest with just a bar but wasn't going to fit a full cage, (foolish or not, now the car has moved on).

Managed 11 days this year, although Castle Combe was spent in it's entirety under the car, so that probably doesn't count.

Busy preparing a Honda K20a2 to go in it for next year biggrin.

Are you not concerned about oil pressure problems and potential failure?

Well, yes.

I wouldn’t if I hadn’t read a few horror stories on the other hand I have read on Porsche forums of several guys who regularly track their Boxster’s without any problem .

I will be fitting an X 51 baffled sump over the winter , Just in case.

I think if you treat them with a bit of respect then they should be okay. You don’t have to redline in every year to get good performance from these cars.

Mine has the sports button that introduces a different map giving you a much torquier bottom end so you don’t have to wring its neck out of every corner.

We shall see.

'I fear long left handers...' biggrin

I think that a large Accusump would be extremely worthwhile. I it the route that I am pretty much decided on. Fitting is tight, though.
