I think that a large Accusump would be extremely worthwhile. I it the route that I am pretty much decided on. Fitting is tight, though.
Stay well away from Thruxton then!

I always remember thinking that it was a very odd place to be honest. I remember going to a Ford show there(I think it might have been FordFair), and it just seemed completely different(in a bad way) to all the other race tracks that I'd visited for me.

I'm not surprised to see that it is being used a car park(storage place) now.

Did a track day there on the 26th of August 2018 in my old Skoda. Had a great day there!

Not long after we did that track day there and embarrassed a few Cerberas, Peter.

I used to like Rockingham. Had quite a few races there in Caterhams, and still hold the lap record in one class, on one layout (yes, i know, it's a bit niche, but it's my little bit of history rofl).

It used to be great for taking people round on trackdays. Inviting friends there was always cool as it was such an event of a place. It had a great, expensive, quality feeling about the place. Quite different to (at the time) places like pembrey where the facilities were a bit lacking.

Such as shame, but c'est la vie

We did indeed Anthony.

That is in my top five Track Days. I love being the underdog!

So long storey short , started out as bnr32gtr v spec 2 , blew up the engine twice ended up going with a nitrous ls6 v8 swap with rwd. Just finished it has taken two years and done around 5 or 6 track days now fixing small issues on the car.

I'll get some more photos of it and there's a few videos of early tests in the car. Currently in Dubai but relocating back to UK early next year.

This hopefully is a link to my YouTube just has a few videos on it of the car, haven't pressed the nitrous yet have been fighting a drive line vibration and reoccurring oil leak from gearbox seal over past few weeks

Yeah wasn't my initial plan but had the engine lying around and the cost involved in RBs is crazy - tracking a twin turbo car in 35/40 degree heat isn't ideal either

Power level is about the same (roughly 450/500 engine) , the car hasn't been cut so can easily be returned to rb26 at a later date.

I'm sure it will ps off the purist but hey ho
