That is interesting. Hadn’t come across anything like that document for the UK.
One of the guys in the owners group asked about changing tyres fairly recently and got this response.
Going on that it would seem it to be more a size than performance issue. Though maybe their intention of limiting the size is to limit the grip available.
The whole warranty thing does seem to be a bit unclear in the U.K. with various dealers having their own interpretations. Just today on the owners group someone was saying their dealer just told them “stage 1” tuning would be fine.
Hyundai offer a couple of approved performance parts like lightweight wheels, exhaust, air filter and plenty of the dealers sell tuning boxes. Yet the first dealer I went to for a test drive before buying mine told me that the warranty absolutely did not and never did cover track use at all, he lost that sale!

I don't know about Cup2s but the MRFs are bad on the road. Id only drive to local (within about 30 miles) circuits with them on.
They would make the longer trip obviously but they are noisy and uncomfortable. For longer trips I took them in the boot and swapped on and off at the track.

.I bought MRF ZTR 225X45X15 tyres from MOTMOTORSPORT and had a few miles on them today to feel them out before any track work. The tyre walls are so stiff I probably under estimated how much lower pressures to run. On R888's I ran 28F 26R so set these ZTR's at 26F 24R . The ride was like solid wheels so will drop another 2 psi before the next run . I am not going to get a true result on best pressure until I've competed again , or at least a trackday . We'll see what the car feels like on 24F 22R , car weighs 950kgs

Since trying pressures at 24f 22r they are talking to me better but still not as communicative as my old R888's . I have set them at 22f 20r to try tomorrow and will see what I think of that . Hope I like them at that psi because not convinced any lower will keep the tread flat to tarmac .
Regarding my last post on trying even lower PSI on my MRF ZTR Medium at 22F 20R on my 950kg Alfa , today was a much more informative session , albeit on frosty roads on our way to a classic car meet . Rather careful on the way there but coming home there was zero frosty patches nor damp and plenty of opportunity to explore cornering , having said that I did have a passenger . Instinctively I pushed hard , having felt feedback on a tight roundabout without any hint of drift in 2nd gear . That was all I needed to try similar aggression on faster corners with positive result , feedback and grip aplenty . I am now loving these MRF ZTR tyres !
