Any ideas out there as to when TD's might be back?

I would imagine it's practical to operate them with a bit of common sense - maybe online drivers briefing the night before etc.

Anyone know??
Considering that at every No 10 briefing this week and last week the message has been "we will not consider lifting the current condions until the 5 points have been met" and that it has also been made clear that they have not been and so there will be no talk about lifting lock down until then, it seems a rather pointless speculation question.

The TDOs are taking bookings from the 9th May, given that the lockdown is confirmed until 8th that makes sense.

Whether they really will start again on 9th remains to be seen. Whilst accepting the point that a track day can easily be run with good social distancing, they can't start up until non essential travel is allowed.

One would expect other things to happen first, schools to reopen etc. before we are allowed out to play.

Here's hoping....

Looks like TF is about to start again. A glimmer of hope for my end of May trip perhaps although a lot needs to happen before then, essential travel and FCO advice being the most obvious hurdles.

From the Dave Woodall, who runs Opentrack today on our FB group:

'At the moment Anglesey Silverstone Goodwood and the tracks in the B ARC group which are Thruxton Pembrey and Croft have all ceased any activity as far as I’m aware until the end of June, Of course they can alter this at any time if they wish but that is a decision they took on the 21st of March I think it was.'

Talking about pembrey they have a new pit garages new complex etc looks a lot better than the old set up may be able to be used during track days.
