The vacuum of criticism towards other participants of the track day for not following the rules (moving out of the way) is telling. How many balanced critiques have their been of their rule-breaking as well as mine? It reveals this thread is largely just a bandwagon for keyboard warriors to have a pop at me.
Maybe you could point them out? A quick skim through the video doesn't show up anyone for blocking you coming past, the next decent straight you're past them all.

It's a shame, PH could be such a great forum if the nastiness shown by some posters was called out more. Ultimately it says more about them than it does about me.
Suck it up buttercup. You put the video up, you invited the criticism, you didn’t like the response. You’ve been here three months and you’re giving advice on how to make the place better?! rofl

+1 just gone through the whole video, nobody held you up for any period you could possibly complain about. The worst you had was the 5 series that theoretically could have let you past on one short straight but that would have been pushing it.

I get held up way more than that on every trackday I do and don’t even consider it, I only start getting a bit annoyed with people if I’m clearly right up their chuff for half a lap or more not 5 seconds or less. I was stuck behind a GR Yaris for about 3 laps straight on my last trackday.

Given its a public forum I'm surprised your surprised by some of the responses but ultimately if you read between the lines, you were treated very fairly and seem unable to accept that ?
I don't think I was, for the reasons I've laid out.

Didn't see anyone easing off on the straights or indicating right, as per the rules.

Even if I had been here 3 months, that wouldn't disqualify me from an opinion on the nastiness of PH. An opinion echoed by others.

And FYI you have no way of knowing how long I've been on here, only how long this particular login has been registered for.

Pistonheads is like any type of social media: it can be incredibly toxic and nasty. It can also be incredibly kind, supportive and inspirational.
It took me a while to work it out, but you get out what you put in.

At a risk of “feeding the troll” OP. You asked for feedback, but you seem unable to accept any fault on your part. Had you been a little more contrite this would have all gone very differently.

You're right, but I think the nastier posts are with the full belief that this chap has no ability to take on criticism so are going to deep with the knife in. Some very nice cars there, I am glad I am not there with one learning it whilst some clown and his mate bombs past on the pit exit in the braking zone.

Why lie when there is literally your own video evidence contradicting you? This sort of st is why you have had a frosty reception.

There were a couple that stayed well right coming out of corners and you were passing them before you even hit the straight proper so they didn’t really have the chance to indicate too and every other overtake you did was against the rules in a braking zone or corner where they are not supposed to be moving over, indicating or letting you past.

Also, overtaking by 'consent' does not have to mean indicator, you just give people time/room to move over, moving to the right/hand signal in open cars is fine too. Just shows you how little OP understands about what he is doing.

Just got back from a 2 day track day at Anglesey with a range of cars of very different performance. Not a single incident, no temper tantrums and respectful driving. It is possible.

Loads of people moved over, multiple indications as well (not that it matters if you're past on corner exit)
