How was he ‘amusingly caught out’??? You said yourself he wandered off still not even knowing that the driver was disabled.
Also, we’re not squabbling, we all think think the Supra driver was in the wrong.

Quite the opposite of squabbling, a rare consensus of opinion! Just being quick on a straight doesn't mean you are faster, they should have lifted and left the other driver pass. Focusing on disability isn't relavent here.
This. Just an easy way to be offended and get on the high horse. Disability is irrelevant, not lifting off is. Gary C said:

Sigh, it was mostly about agrressive track day drivers, and one amusingly being caught out picking on a disabled driver, but, I'll bow out and leave you to squabble amongst yourselves.
I take it this story pertains to the other track day thread?FWIW said:

I take it this story pertains to the other track day thread?I have let a standard-engined Hillman Imp pass me at Cadwell Park.
He caught me a few times in the slower corners because he really knew how to drive the corners, driving it as he did in race series.
So I let him past to see how he did it.
Yes, he was painfully slow on the straights, about 30-40 mph slower than me, but his lines were interesting as was his driving style.
My track car is a 300 bhp+ TVR, but that doesn't make me a driving god.
Had a good chat with him in the pits afterwards about his car.
Actually a highlight in a fun day.

Forget what sort of 911 but I was driving one on Nordschleife and let a K24 Nissan Micra past. It was going rapidly, despite looking (with respect) a little ratty.
Turns out the car is very well known, heavily modified and the owner, who also has some crazy GTR, a very experienced ‘Ringpilot.

There's a well known Mark 2 Golf that features regularly on here and is often seen at the Ring.
Well equipped with picnic trays if a spot of lunch is required in the Eiffel mountains.
Move out the way time if that appears behind you.
My first ever lap of the ‘Ring was in that. Well equipped with picnic trays if a spot of lunch is required in the Eiffel mountains.

Nige definitely knows his way around.

There is another very well known one that looks like a fairly std (classic) mini clubvan, although when you get close, it very well isn't, and an old school Opel Kadette, basically if anything gets up close & personal it is fast, so pull over, no matter how old/slow the car it is based on would be.Turns out the car is very well known, heavily modified and the owner, who also has some crazy GTR, a very experienced ‘Ringpilot.
