Going to try these if they release more sizes ( fingers crossed).

Like the NS2R, they seem a good light track/fast road tyre.

Not many outlets seem to have them at the moment though.

Any experiences of them?

I’d be interested to see how good/bad these are. I’ve got 195/50/15 AD08R on my MX5 and I like them.

Also interested. I've got AD08s on my Clio, and while they're not the grippiest tyre in the world they last well and work on the road.

You might be disappointed as they're not doing 15".

Who you trying to order through, I've looked round at the usual places and nothing listed - I'm after 235/35/19

I can't remember exactly where but I searched every single site I could find that supplied in the UK. I can get the fronts but the rears don't even show up in that size on most sites. I suspect it is because they haven't released that size in Europe yet? I don't know which but one of the web pages I looked at stated not available until Jun/Jul. I'm assuming that is when they are expecting that size over here?

Same boat as you chaps.

I emailed Yoko UK. this was the response...

"Apologies for the late response.

As you are aware the pattern is very new so as of yet only a very small selection of sizes has been released. Further sizes will be released over the coming months but there isn't any update on 235/35/19 for the U.K. unfortunately.

AD09 is available now from any Yokohama agents especially ones that focus on motorsport/tuning i.e. Demon Tweeks.

Thank you for your interest in Yokohama tyres.

Kind Regards"

This was in response to my query regarding sizes compared to ones available state side. They have the sizes I want, but not yet in Europe,,,if ever frown

Hope they arrive soon in hot hatch sizes like 215/45/17

And live up to the previous ad08r performance

I wanted to give these a try for Spa but Tegiwa were out of stock and sent me A052s instead. (not complaining!)

I think if they have 90% of the grip of A052s but have better feedback and stability then they're a winner in my book.

Had my first day out at Snetterton on these last week, i'm glad I held off for them to be released.

Very impressed on a mild and dry day. The biggest gain on the 08's they say is in the wet so that will be interesting to see biggrin

Good track day tyre test including the AD09: https://youtu.be/klSmFfLSReg

Seems to be well balanced front to rear and quick for a more road biased tyre.

Thanks for posting that up. Quite a surprising result there. Bodes well.

Interested to hear if MrNoisy has any feedback from wet performance, daily driving since his last post?

No wet feedback i'm afraid other than at Snetterton on Tuesday I did not fear a wasted day when momentarily after lunch it looked like we may get a bit of damp stuff. Came to nothing though biggrin

I don't daily the car but it isn't a loud tyre on the road, just feels pretty normal tbh, I think it would be perfectly liveable.

Dry track work - love them. Need a little more pressure out than the 8's did weirdly but really happy overall. I've never had any of the competition on other than 08's so take my comments for what they are.
