Hi all,

Any recommendations for the above in 2023? A-Plan seems to have stopped that part, but looks like Classic Line still do cover.

Are there any others to check out for quotes?

Thanks!

I was with Greenlight last year. An extra £150 for a bundle of 5 trackdays. You could add to it if you wanted.

I just renewed my Atom with Thatcham A-Plan, road use and 5 track days included. Are they not quoting you for that ?

They didn't last year... Will try them again, as they may have changed underwriters.

Classic line quoted for 5 track days and any club organised trackdays included on top, so pretty good.

REIS give me cover for 5 or 6 trackdays on my policy.

REMEMBER - if you claim on that policy for the track days, it goes down as a claim on your road insurance too!

Best bet is to have separate insurance

I've made 2 trackday claims with A-Plan and it didn't increase my premiums. That's not to say it won't affect them, but it didn't in my case.

Simple fact is though that for those with fairly high value cars, separate track cover is massively more expensive that the combined cover. I'm paying £1700 for road cover + 5 UK trackdays, I was recently quoted £725 for a single day.

I don't think high value changes that calculation.

I was quoted around £100 for a track day - and the combined cover is only £200 more for 5+ days, along with the included club days. So you could have 10 days covered for a couple of hundred quid.
