Airfield track days

hey everyone, with Vmax200 no longer running events and Brunters closed, are there any options for a safe, airfield top speed type event anymore?

I was about to suggest MotorSport Events but I see that there are no airfield days at either Abingdon or Keevil according to their calendar.

It says on the link "over 2 miles".

Yes saw that, however most sites advertise total length and not runway length, so 2 mile could actually be only 1 mile. As an example brunters states 4.2miles however straight runway is 2 miles. I’m hoping to find something like that again

Elvington tend to run mile events generally. There's nowhere I know of running anything longer generally these days.

I just had an email from them this morning with Abingdon's dates promised. Sod's law in action!

Anyone going to Elvington on 25th March?

Thinking about taking my recently tuned old 911 Turbo up.

From what I can see Abingdon only do "track days" not just a straight line "airfield day". Problem with a track day is that I'd be nervous someone will take me out, not something that's going to happen in a straight line event. I can only see Elvington available for such events unless anyone knows another location?
