Generally pretty good, I didn't notice too much in the way of chippings, although it can never be as good as a well maintained circuit.

The organisers are very friendly but quite strict, you just need to run through (as opposed to over) the cones to get black flagged. I get the impression they aren't too keen on gooning.

On the other hand it is a good place for beginners for this reason.

great place to go if you are new to track days, well run, friendly, nothing solid to hit and not too bad on tyres as long as you avoid understeer on the slow left handers.

if you are more experienced then a bit tedious.

Opinions welcome...

I have never done any track driving in my own car before, but really fancy the idea of this event, can anyone help out with:

- Anything i ought to know?
- Is this a good beginner event?
- Will i get laughed at for turning up in a 520i :-)
- Any advice you can offer

Thanks in advance

airfields, heavy on tyres (tarmac is rough to stop airplanes!)chippy so don't get too close.

good for starters...trying the fancy stuff etc.
cheap! compared to track days
520i - they'll be people in all sorts. check out their, if i remember you can see who/whats going
