I've heard that it's closed except to cars with German plates - some rubbish about foreigners having too many accidents

Please no. I've only ever done 3 laps and was banking on getting two trips in this year.

Err not that easy to get a hold of them ,, however i may be able to "Rent " my plates out for a very resonable fee

That's one hell of a decision! Any links to verified story? (I'm not trying to doubt the original poster).

If true, surely it will KILL the local economy?! (and not least the sticker selling petrol station )

Seems strange to install that new ticketing system to reduce congestion, and then ban ze non Germans.

Bit more information, apparently they'll be making exceptions for cars with PH stickers and drivers wearing a PH "One Track Mind" t-shirt...
