It's not obvious on the site, Flasher, but at the bottom of the booking form on Book a track there's a drop down menu with the hotel options included.

I made the same mistake.

So what hotel / ferry /whatever etc are people going by

Are people taking other halves ?

I may take the Range Rover and car trailer etc so I could take one write off home

Oh, by the way, I'VE BOOKED AND I'M REALLY EXCITED :boune:

Yeah, Ditto. Only realised after the umpteenth check of the site that the drop down menu was there.. I think I've updated it now but I've probably booked another track day!!

Ben

I think I'm on the ferry and there's only one hotel isn't there? Mungo is hoping to co-pilot me!! So bringing the Missus might not be a sensible option

Argh! We're getting married 3 weeks after this, on basis it's likely to be hectic, should I come anyway?

Will very possibly have a Radical Supersport by then

Bu**er.
I'm here waiting for the bank to make the transfer and we're down to 8 places...
Could we all just simmer down a little, please?

Question for Jonny and any other Folembray old hands, are there noise restrictions for the circuit?

Cheers

Buster's Cerbera with no cats was no problem last year. It was er... quite loud.

Thanks Ted having looked at the list of attendees cars, I suspect the S's noise will be drowned out

At least we can have a quietish S4 convoy

When tested at Hethel Gary's Cerberra did about 110 - 113 Db static. We never had any problems with it at Folembray.

My old S exhaust did 113Db at Combe (got it tested for the fun of it) and I never heard a louder S anywhere ever !

If your S is standard then it will not be an issue at Folembray ..

Sod it, we've booked in anyway. I'm sure there won't be any last minute wedding arrangements to see to

Carbs ! Wow ! Induction noise aswell ! As for the sports exhaust, it depends on how 'sports' ...

I had a system which were oversized pipes, flaired tailpipes, oval silencer box and no prebaffle. Effectively they were straight through pipes and it used to spit flames I liked it a lot, but got a tamer 'sports' system and muffler for track day
use, as even with a muffler I couldn't get the old system below 105Db

If I can come along I will have to be your "monkey"!

Just to explain...the monkey thing comes from the Robbie Williams track "Me and my Monkey" which Mungo and I had on at full blast up the M1 on the way to Nottingham...It will be played again on the way to Folembray Mungo!!!

Flasher and his Monkey ride again...
