Now that the winter is on it sway I need to sort out the handleing on the cars.

Im guessing that whats good for one will be good for the other so im looking for some help from some of the "ring gti" owners.

What suspension do you guys run with? settings?
Wheel sizes and tyres?

all help is much appreciated.

Mine & a few other track & few 'ring visit set ups for you, all stripped & caged & all mk2s bar last one all run 170-180bhp+ area valver lumps, all bar 1st one have LSD's, all fully polly bushed

1-

Eibach Pro springs
Eibach Pro Dampers
Eibach ARBs 22/25mm
G60 top mounts
7x15 Yoko A539 & now Toyo 888 (not 'ringed this rubber yet, maybe in a couple of wks)

Nice set up great in wet, could go harder dry but v forgiving

Konis Top ajusts would be good choice instead of eibach dampers

2-

FK Konisport coilies
H&R ARBs 25/28mm
Widetrack
7x15 F1s (on 888s now but not 'ringed on yet)

Firmer than prev set up, rear noticably more mobile, widetrack a worthwhile mod

3-

Avo race valved coilies
Mk3 top mounts
350LbF fr springs
250Lb rear
Widetrack
Eibach ARBs
7x15 Toyo 888, Yoko A048

Haredr again than prev, still fine dry, bit more twitchy wet.

4-

Mk1
Avo race valved coilies
350LBFr springs
400LB Rr
Eibach ARBs
Solid top mounts with caster ajust
Toyo 888
7x15

Lots harder than all prev, spring rate is tad hard for ring but ok, bit of a handful in wet
