Ross - Can you put an uncompressed AVI of the silverelise2 clip somewhere I can get it? I'd like to edit it together with the in-car footage I have and stick it all in the montage vid I'm working on, if that's OK with you? Full credit will be given etc. etc.

Matt, no problem. I'm uploading it here: (may take a while before it's completed)

www.hairymoments.co.uk/videos/dv_elisesilver2.avi

It's uncompressed, DV quality so is a hefty 31mb. Hope you've got a good connection!

what a brilliant day!!!
I just enjoy Folembray more everytime I go. Was sorry not to have been able to join in the bar chat due to having to back in Belgium that evening, sounds like a few ales were supped! Next time. Also sorry I didn't get much time to speak to anyone due to being on the track so much. After seeing Flasher's T350 on track I think I need one!
I have some video footage, taken mainly by Thom, on my camera, will do battle with video editing software later and try and get it posted.
Did the photographer keep all the shots cause I didn't get a chance to see them? If they are all like the flying Elise I would like to see them.

cheers
Donald (Blue Chimaera 450, with bald tyres and broken rear antiroll bar mount)

yes indeed on the way to the track, though i prefer to think that it was some kind of cat kamakazi attack, that way at least the cat dies with some honour.....

for you cat fans (and I'm one so there!) said feline did not suffer as after a swift anasthetic from the fiesta bumper (the fiesta had a hard time killing the bugs hitting the windscreen let alone something as large as a mammal) the 'coup de grace' was administered by a following vehicle.

I'm still contemplating whether my accident on track was retribution via some kind of cosmic karmic cat conspiracy...... [sounds best if you say it like sylvester from tweety pie - or chris eubank....]

Excellent weekend!!! If we could only get the sound man to dress up in a cat suit and point Mr Tony in his direction...

PS. Ted, can I have an official Radical logo instead seeing as how I can supply more Guinness than Mr Gravel Trap?

PS. Anybody got any pics of my car spitting flames too? Judging by the melted bodywork around the exhaust (which Radical are now fixing) there would have been some interesting pyrotechnics

Most has already been said, but:
- top day.
- top weather.
- top standard of driving on track - I'll add my thanks to everyone.
- top organisation - thanks to Bookatrack.
- top bunch of people - nice to meet you all.
- top beer.

Things that stopped it being a perfect day:
- the "Noise Nazi". I've no problems with noise limits if they are known beforehand (so we can do something about it) but to turn up and find a stringent 90dB drive-by limit is not on. Oh, and he did seem to be going out of his way to remove cars from the track (changing his measurement position etc.).
- the "Noise Nazi" using a red flag to remove noise offenders, thereby creating mass confusion as to the status of the track.

I'll certainly be back (providing there aren't crazy noise limits......).
