All the pesky Caterhams, were dispatched by this..
What session was that car in? Not one I recall seeing. I saw a beautiful GT3RS in green (again not on track). Now thats the car. Not a fan of the orange personally. All the pesky Caterhams, were dispatched by this..
Photos were taken by my brother. On my site.

I was watchin the Porsche Fest from the pitwall @ 4:30.. you guys were pretty damn close..!
3 white GT2's in a row, an orange RS, green RS in there too.. great spectating..! and the noise.. oh yeah..!
Glenn.. I ended up in GP1, and was catchin a green RS at one point in the CS ... but i am guessing you had a guest driver at the time.. didn't get a chance to come and say hi as we were on the tarmac all day..! but will next time.
Trust me, it wasn't me, there was another Green one there in Group 1 i think, he had standard wheels.3 white GT2's in a row, an orange RS, green RS in there too.. great spectating..! and the noise.. oh yeah..!

Looks like fun, although the one and only (and last) time i went in a Caterham, i thought my headwas going to come off down Hangar straight !!!
Following the RS was a tricky one, as obviously you were all over it in the complexes, but it was long gone when the track opened up, and that would have put him in the same position if he was following you....similar time over a lap, always a hard one with such differing types of car.

It was nice to see porkers being thrashed though...that black RSR, and the NEW (lush!!!) white RSR certainly appeared to be getting a good caning. I had a 911 997 which I tracked once, and whilst it was great fun I couldn't stomach going 10/10's in it for fear or wrecking it, or having to deal with the cost etc. Mind, caterham racing isn't cheap either!

2:08's is going some.. well done .. young Porschemeister Sean Edwards tells me a stock RS is good for a 2:06-2:07 .. a GT3 a 2:08.. suspension and geo set up cars can get close to 2:03-2:04's and he has done a 2:00 flat in the Oakley design GT3 with all the aero, Intrax + geo + stickies on it..
A cup car will get down to 1:48's ....
I have seen a CSL go round in a 2:21 a long time ago on slicks.. but not sure what the limit of the car is really..
Wait till i get my proper front tyres.. i will be chomping on your Zorst.. (not..!)
Lovely RS by the way..!

Don't believe ALL the horse st that comes out of Shedwards gob
He only did a 1:59 in my 997 Cup Car the other week, although with a bit of traffic and me
in the passenger seat and average rubber.
He could probably get a 2:07 out of a stock RS, as he's about as good as it gets for pedalling a 911, however, i'm struggling to believe that 2:00 flat time in the Oakley car.....7 seconds over standard is more than a lifetime...

Having checked the Supercup archives... in 2007 which was dry.. best Quali was a 1:52 in race lap best was a 1:54.. 2008 was lashing down... but Shedwards was doing 2:13's on monsoon tyres..! which in a car that has the weight distribution of a club hammer is brave to say the least.. but dont tell him..!

my first time earlier in March at Silly and just touching 2m 19s.Edited by RatBoy M3CS on Thursday 2nd April 13:59
I have seen CSL on Cups running 2m 14s but it will take me a fare while getting down to that as it is such a technical circuit and i dont even know yet what corner is what!
Good effort 1st time out shim...!
I will have the same compound on both ends of the car for the next one April 29th, so should have an idea then.., and leave 75kg on the pitwall..! you coming up in April / May events..?
GP1 was hard work, and only got 3 clear laps over the whole day.. back to GP2 next time out for sure..
