I don't get any where near the sort of times quoted here but I can assure anyone that it is still a fantastic place to drive at a more moderate place. Spa is truly magical smile

Here's a video one of our guys (Porsche964FP) made of our pilgramage to Spa last week. I think it sums up the place perfectly.

Must be getting on for five years mate! I'm sure we'll meet up again at some point. I think the BaT weekend at the end of March is going to become an annual pilgrimage for us. wink

Second lap of 2 better at 3.04ish, guessing at video clock . . . Haven't looked at rest of video footage, may have gone quicker, but was first time at Spa and first time in the car, only put this up to shows Vicki's feet waving about in the footwell and read the thread so thought I'd check the times.

1.6k SV Superlight, with my svelte 17 stone and my wife (who weighs half that amount), either way Kemmel was very long and very slow with only 135bhp, running on CR500's.

Now busily completely re-building the car having bought it and will be back this year aiming for at least sub 3mins ....

Managed a 2:56 in my Cayman R a couple of weeks back. 2 up, standard tyres in the dry. Can anyone tell me whether that's respectable?

Was there yesterday, best lap at 2.42.92 with a 997GT3RS MKI on (used) slicks. Several race cars there, the 997 cups where not really much faster. Some video:
