Superb day - and excellent company - both on and off track. Sadly I had to go home after lunch as it was pointed out to me that my car was spewing petrol from the filler cap, but apart from that (and the water temp sender failing and discovering an oil leak - guess it's what you call a shakedown test) the car was brilliant.

Was it you with the yellow caterham that I saw putting vasaline on the filler cap? Was a good day but a bit hot for me! I had a small problem with a cv boot, you probably all saw me at lunch covered in grease repacking it
Traffic was well behaved apart from one particular 911 that didnt want to move over.
Any of you lot in the yellow vx220 with several impressive spins

Everyone was very well behaved - maybe the weather calmed people down a bit.

Awesome day, great company! My GF, Alex and I really enjoyed it. We both got instruction from Merrick who knows his Caterhams significantly better than the back of his hand. He showed me some of the finer details and even got Alex going proper quick.
It was even worth passing up the chance to go for a spin with Rich, just to see her beaming from ear to ear as she got out of the car!
After that day however I've just bought us both smoked visors. Could not get the Oakleys under the helmets and the brightness was huge!

any idea where I can find some pics please?
The official ones should appear here;www.trackphoto.co.uk/
in a couple weeks. (I didn't check it was them on Monday but they're the usual Bedford/Easytrack photographers)
Afternoon all. Monday was a fantastic day - it's strange to see Bedford bathed in sunshine for once! I had a lot of fun - first outing in my car - and it was good to see so many different cars there - the White Evo and 3 series were unbelievably quick!
Bit of queuing in the morning but that soon worked itself out.
BTW - which cars were you all in (I was in the White 997 GT3)?
