Hmmmm prince2 training that would cost a fortune when I did it a few years a go I know it cost the company I worked for a lot of money. Probably better for him to start at the bottom and work his way up.

Pete, I'd be careful what help desk roles he applies for - alot of them are gloried call centres with little or no technical training required or supplied.

Frankly the working conditions on some of these desks are unpleasent with very high staff turn over.

Bracknell\Reading is a reasonable area to go looking for work but he'll be better off looking at small companies rather than the major IT players if he's after a job where he'll actually have a chance to get his hands dirty.

Thanks for that slurm you do make sense ..... He's actually applied for a job at the apple store in reading ..... Not sure it's quite the stepping stone he wants. But I think it's easier to get a job when your in a job. If you know what I mean
