Bullet points??? FFS no. You have email
hahahathats a good one - thank you.
what I was saying about the presentation its just a 20 min verbal presentation - a swot analysis on the store - I have most of it memorised so bullet points just to go from one to another...
we're not as advanced as you might think *LOL*
but definitely that does have good tips and pointers for my presentation.
Best advice I can give on a presentation is DO NOT JUST READ WHAT IS ON THE SLIDES. Also, don't write too much. Use slides as a prompt for discussion. One of the best presentations I went to had a title slide, and then the guy did everything on a whiteboard - this may not lend itself to it, his was a Cyber Defence presentation to be fair - but it was brilliant.
A key thing, always remember to do a quick intro about who you are 'I'm George, and I've worked for ABC Trading since July 2014' or whatever. Ensure you ask people to ask questions as you go through, or say you would prefer them at the end.

Mullah.
They will ask you some questions.
So try to think of the top 20 things they will ask you - and have an answer ready.
Be aware - that they may ask you something that they already know the answer to.
They are just testing your competence.
If you know the answer - obviously you can respond.
If you do not 100% know the answer - reply "I don't know - but I will find that out for you - and let you know by date and time."
Good luck.

i got the phone call about 30 minutes ago. i didnt get it.
i sent the staff home - sometimes just good to be on your own - gonna go for a shisha later on and just zone out.
the explanation was that he felt due to the previous manager not doing stuff like targets, man management, improving perfomances etc i wasnt trained/exposed enough on this. so with the store being a big earner for the company he felt he wanted experience behind it.
i am upset i didnt but i'm experienced enough to know why he's made the choice.

Why let you get as far as the interview stage then if he already knew this to be the case?I don't understand that at all.
