Woking based, former London police officer (advanced driver), young 55, seeks employment.

Widower, no particular ties, with an excellent knowledge of UK roadways, particularly the highland region of Scotland.

Try
Greycoat placements
Marques of distinction
And get on the books with a few agencies, a lot prefer ex police to ex mill depending on experience.

Always worth a look in Lady Magazine as there's usually something in there. I know someone who landed a really good driving job from there smile Decent money, own flat etc. Just a bit of a PITA driving the bosses wife shopping in the day!

Most of the decent jobs are word of mouth so networkings vital to get something good, have you tried the chauffeurs guild? Our chauffeurs started off there then got on with a few agency's and then got taken on full time by the boss after a few months.

Also worth trying UKME. They provide Close Protection, Resedential Security & Drivers. Mainly summer work when the season kicks off, but have taken a few on full time.
