Rock climb.

It's very hard to think of work when you are completely focused on making the next move - and a big drop really helps in making you focus on the here and now better than anything else I've come across.

I am more assertive these days and have learned, for want of a better term to not 'give a f***' - but during certain situations I still worry after work

Set yourself some sort of 'target'

For example, if you enjoy running, enter a half marathon. It'll make you go out for a run if your struggling with motivation and it'll also give you something else to focus on (achieving the distance/time), whislst also making you a lot fitter, which in turn will also reduce stress levels.
