I'm going though a completely pointless consultation exercise where I have been singled out for redundancy (well, my role)

However, I am of the understanding that there are about 30 odd people in consultation (elsewhere in the business at my site - establishment?) hard for me to prove as I am at home on garden leave

Is there a way to tell if they have completed the HR1 form and submitted it? If they have, they are completely ignoring the proper process

I'd like to be as awkward as possible wink

Ask the HR person handling your redundancy consultation; it's a common question I got when I was handling cases. If you're not having consultations, e-mail them asking for confirmation when it was completed. They won't give you a copy of the form but they should confirm that they have completed their legal requirements before starting the consultation.

They have emailed me to deny that that there are more than 20 people in consultation - I suspect this to be untrue ...
