Oswestry School seeks an assistant to support sport, boarding and the wider life of this busy school. The role is necessarily residential and will involve coaching, general supervision, and sports administration during the day, as well as providing boarding supervision and activity leadership on some weekends and evenings.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead coaching sessions in at least one of the School’s major sports (swimming, hockey, netball, soccer, rugby, cricket, tennis and athletics). Coaching qualifications or experience of high-level sport are desirable. The role will suit a recent sports graduate looking to move into the arena of coaching or teaching.
As a residential position, all costs, board and lodgings, are provided. A medical support package and use of facilities, help emphasise that Oswestry School is a community which cares for its employees.
