The grass is never greener, it's just a different shade of sh*t green. The only thing that gets greener when you jump is YOU. Every company has it's foibles , it's own retardedness, rarely better or worse than what you left behind, but the move gives you a burst of enthusiasm that might just get you out of a rut.

Similarly, I started as a "WebOps Apprentice" at 19 on £21k, just about tripled this after 5 years... Not bad for no qualifications, not even A levels!
