How are the toilets in your work ?
Discussion
It is getting really dirty now. Rather than using the toilet they are doing the toilet in a bag and hanging off of the cubicle door. I’ve never seen such lunatic behaviour. It’s actually made me look for a new job. The odd skid mark on a pan is okay but this is a new level. We are told it’ll get worse.

How do the bag contents rate on the Bristol stool chart ?It is a common thing in all industries. My wife worked in an investment back in the city, lovely offices and they had the same. It was a lady doing the dirty stuff (quite often is weirdly). I look after a number of buildings and it is the same. No idea what these people's houses must be like, bogey, st and piss over every wall.
It is so common I wonder if it is a medical condition that people just have, surely it isn't a conscious decision, as it is floaters are just as bad if they're yours as they are if they are someone else's. Who the hell want to get hands on?

That's disgusting!Who's doing the "telling" here, as in "it'll get worse"?
They need to be asked a few questions!
Since I'm WFH 100%, I really can't say I miss shared toilets access.
I won't use my en-suite during the day, though. I'm odd like that.
The mastermind behind the dirty protest has now left leaflets in the toilets encouraging others to join. It says there is a team of 5 of them and gives the reasons they are doing it. The management has started sending out emails complaining about it but I think they are really just promoting it in the grand scheme of things. It has been getting worse this week too and more cleaners have walked out.
It’s just like a “just oil” protest but this one is revolting.

I wonder how practical it would be for management to set the toilets up like you see in coffee shops. You go and request a key for the locked toilet to be opened one at a time. It’s just like a “just oil” protest but this one is revolting.
That way they could track who is going. Could also get them to sign a form when they hand the key back to confirm the toilet was left in a reasonable condition, if someone reports that they found a mess would just need to look at the previous toilet goer on the list.

That was suggested but not taken up any further. We have all come in this morning to find an email telling us that they may need to close the office down as most cleaners have left and it’s a health and safety concern. Rumour has it, on Friday whilst the higher management were visiting, one of them entered the toilet and slid on the pee on the floor and fell into a puddle of urine. It was really bad and I bet he feels dirty for days. That way they could track who is going. Meanwhile, since that incident there has been another poo incident whereby someone filled the toilet with paper until it was quite high and dropped one on top. It made for a very unpleasant vision for the poor person who lifted up the seat.
It is now getting attention from management so I suppose that’s their goal for the dirty protest.
When I first started work there were management’s toilets and shop floor toilets. Not sure if people got challenged using the wrong toilets but as a graduate in the office I felt ok using the office ones, but was always worried in case there was some seniority pass. Both were clean to be honest. Also there was a senior management dining room and an everyone else dining room. I only went in the management once as it was for section heads and above. Waitress service, free wine and beer and food made to order, another world.

What type of work are you in financial/construction?Meanwhile, since that incident there has been another poo incident whereby someone filled the toilet with paper until it was quite high and dropped one on top. It made for a very unpleasant vision for the poor person who lifted up the seat.

That's also an anti-stench manoeuvre - as soon as it hits the water, flush it away and then relax during the rest of your toilet visit without having a noxious cloud wafting around you. Also used by some people to disguise the initial exhaust tone before a deposit is made.
Speaking off the latter, quite a few times I’ve been occupying a cubicle, to then have someone completely oblivious to the fact they are not alone park next door and unleash all sorts of noises, honestly find it quite awkward
