Heading up to Fonab tomorrow? Any suggestions? What to do? Eat etc?

Thanks.

Stayed in it three times and loved it every time. Last time we had the tower room at the top. Views over the loch are amazing. Never eaten in the fine dining restaurant but the bistro is great and you get the views over the loch again.

You can walk down into the town from the hotel but it'll pretty mucky at this time of year. The walk takes you over the dam so worth it if you don't mind the mud. Not sure if there will be much action in the fish ladder at this time of year.

Queens view is a must if you're in Pitlochry. Edradour distillery is worth a visit if you've never been to one before. It's tiny and the tour is really good.

Last time I was there a group of guys turned up in Ultimas, one in Martini livery. Very cool.

cheers.

I delivered the elevator there some years ago, horrible journey from Liverpool in snow.

The walk along the Tay to Killiecrankie is quite pleasant if the weather is reasonable, but if you plan to have lunch at the Killiecrankie hotel call to check it's open first as there are no other options in the area (or at least none a few years ago when I tried it).
