Best perks of your job?

I always pay this forum a visit and I don't think I've ever seen a positive thread

So, to break it up a bit... What're the best perks of your job?

For me, it's the flexible working hours and the ability to work from home.

I work from home mostly but that is less of a perk and more role determined.

If you do attend the office there is free toast all day, free breakfast cereal, pool tables, xbox and a Friday beer fridge.

They use a perklife scheme to offer us discounted things such as restaurant discount cards and the like as well.

Expenses that cover the costs of hanging out in some dubious bars in foreign places.

Best perk for me was retiring 2 years ago aged 56.

Can't get better than that

^^^Currently going to interviews for jobs that allow this.

I can't take a piss when I need to...but to keep it positive...amount of holiday. Especially August's pay when I've not set foot in the building.

I get cars cheap, if I didn't have them as a perk I'd never be able to afford them at normal retail rates. I also get to work in an industry that genuinely interests me, working for a company that even if i didn't work here i'd want to see doing well

Thanks - Monday morning for my second interview. Will be nice to be able to drop the youngest off at school and take the dog for a walk in the morning if I get it!

On a positive note, I get all my insurances paid by the company (life, health, Dis) and grossed up for tax.

Thats a fair bit of value.

Complete lack of stress and responsibility. Once I've finished my shift I can completely forget about the place until I'm back in the following day. A complete contrast to my previous job running my own business.

8-weeks on, 8-weeks off. Unless I feel like doing a bit more. Or a bit less.

The extended periods of 'quality-time' with the family are the best perks for me.

Low, semi-flexible working hours, 13 weeks holiday (although this is partly reflected in the salary) and while technically I have a boss I do my own thing. Plus, I am actually doing something I genuinely enjoy, cooking and teaching.

Similar to above - working from home with flexible hours and generally being treated like an adult by my employer.

Yes, that means school runs, dog walks and runs within daylight hours in the winter but I make up for that by returning to my office whenever necessary in the evenings to catch up on communications, particularly as I work with the US a lot.

Run a business from home, complete contrast to corporate life.

Take time off when quiet, mainly work in shorts and T-Shirt.

Share an office with my dog.

I get to spend my days driving around in some lovely parts of East Devon and West Dorset in my old pick up truck whilst listening to Hancock's Half Hour, John Finnemore or anything else that's amusing, drinking tea and cleaning windows on some very nice country houses.

I must say that most of the time it's rather enjoyable
