Mechanical Engineer/junior project manager

My motivation for this post is entirely finanical : I quote : This position qualifies for payment under the Employment Referral Payment Scheme and will also be advertised externally.
We are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join the Engineered Products Product Group.
Working within this product group team, you will undertake a key role ensuring that engineering projects are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with the client¡¦s requirements.
Your project engineering expertise will be extensively applied and will involve:
„X Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with both the department¡¦s procedures and the company¡¦s quality assurance system.
„X Provide a service to CRP¡¦s clients which exceed their expectations.
„X Minimise the risk to CRP during the execution of a contract.
„X Maximise the gross margin generated by each project.
„X Support external sales in their client sales visits.
„X Actively consider sales opportunities for existing and new products, liaising with external sales.
„X Prepare tender documents in response to client enquiries liaising with internal sales.
„X Set-up appropriate document control systems.
„X Evaluate the client¡¦s requirements upon contract award.
„X Prepare and maintain project schedules.
„X Liaise with the client during reporting as required
„X Arrange for the conduct of engineering design work and the preparation of engineering drawings.
„X Initiate the ordering of raw materials.
„X Award and manage subcontracts accordingly.
„X Generate internal documentation so as to allow on-site manufacturing to proceed.
„X Initiate arrangements for the completion of any product testing required.
„X Specify packing and delivery requirements.
„X Monitor expenditure during the execution of the contract.
„X Archive the project upon completion identifying areas requiring improvement for future reference.
Candidates qualified to HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline, should have a minimum of 3 years experience of major and fast track contracts gained in a progressive manufacturing environment, including significant experience of client liaison. .
