Points of contact for the motorsport industry

I am changing my career in around 9 months time and I'm currently trying to find points of contact for working in the motorsport industry.

I am currently an Army officer and therefore have a large range of non-specific leadership, management and planning skills and experience. I also have a degree in Transport Design from Coventry University and I'm a complete petrol head! I will be looking for jobs in project management and other management related areas, although I appreciate that for some jobs (for example race team management) racing experience would be required.

The hardest thing is always finding out where to start so if any PH Forum users can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated! I am already intending to write to the MSA and MIA.

wow. that's a pretty impressive book! thanks for the link. may be worth investing nearer the time, perhaps for the 09 season.
