Agreed, it has been a bit of a ‘perfect storm’ as far as hospital doctors are concerned. Problem is it affected productivity as many stopped doing waiting list initiatives

I just started a new job. It can be pretty full-on and a lot of pressure but I bloody love it. Interesting work, good people, good company.
My previous place I had a really good team and managers, but sales was clearly not my calling.

I'm intrigued as to how someone can stay in a job for 25 years that they genuinely hate. Why not go somewhere else?
I wouldn't be able to get near to the wage I earn now if I moved, I have no qualifications or skills to take anywhere else, and the pension would be poor in comparison, and I would ave to work longer. So I decided a long time ago to suffer a job I hate in exchange for the better income etc. Though because of this I generally advise folk to take employment that they will enjoy, rather than chase the money. I'm just not very good at taking my own advice.
