My wife has a small cleaning company and she paid someone to make her a website.

It is ok but needs someone to liven it up and give it a bit a punch.

I believe the site is good but a tad boring.

Happy to give someone a fair amount of beer tokens if they can sort it out for me as a surprise for her.

Hi Paoloh

I'm a 'just getting started on my own' web designer in Worthing, Sussex. Vodka tokens are more my thing!!

My new Company is A Clear Web and my website is here http://www.aclearweb.co.uk and one I have nearly finished is here http://www.brownsgarage.co.uk.

I need to get a few under my belt before I can really promote myself so this would be good for me.

If you're interested let me have her site address and I'll have a look?

Hi Jan, my wife has just started a bakery company and is in a similar position to the OP and although has a basic google website set up it needs some polish & tweaking, Vodka tokens are definately on offer if you're interested along with full credit & PR.

The power of Piston Heads wins again, Jan did a truly amazing job designin the wifes new cake company website, nothing was any trouble and the result is exactly what the wife wanted so I'm in the good books for a bit.

Any other small business PH members out there needing a website wont go wrong with Jan

Hi Liner33

I have tested these sites on 4 machines 5 different browsers, and three different operating systems with no problems. I would suggest that you run Malwarebytes or something similar on your machine and make sure your software is up to date. If there are any problems I will happily fix them.

Thanks guys I appreciate the comments - constructive criticism is always welcome.

I fixed the link - guess I didn't check it because as you say 'your actually on that page' so why would you click it.

I see your point about drop downs and tooltips not being good together - I will sort that, and a good point to remember for the future.

Thanks again

Yep, the Java applet is also "unregistered"

Could I suggest using a Flash applet rather than Java - better installed base of users for Flash, and something like SlideShowPro won't set you back a huge amount!

Also your website is not compliant with The Companies (Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2008...

Hi Cyberprog

Thanks for your comments - this is a new venture and I'm busy setting up all the legalities such as Company name registration through Sussex business link.

I am sourcing the additional software needed but we all have to start somewhere on a limited budget.
