I have been frantically searching for a job for the last 3 weeks, but i’m having real trouble finding something suitable.
The trouble i have is that i’m at college 4 days a week, so i need an evening job starting around 7pm.

I’ve searched Royal Mail jobs and they have nothing in my area, i thought they might have something especially as its nearing Christmas, but sadly not.
I do daily searches on Job Site and the Job Centre but so far i’ve not really found anything.
If anyone has any helpful suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Pubs, bars and restaurants should be busier towards Christmas, surely, and there's late night Christmas shopping but that might only go up to 9pm.

Oh, yes, surprised I forgot that one as I did my shopping at 11pm last week and had to weave in and out of huge "cage" trolleys filled with boxes.

I have tried Sainsburys, they have nothing other than a full time pharmacist, I've tried places for Christmas jobs but they only have retail sales and they are not within the hours i need.

I've spoken to the job centre and they where useless, unless i want a job as a cleaner in Northampton which is over an hour away....

Bar work.... there's nothing around me, surprisingly.

I thought i'd be able to get something in a warehouse/logistics or the sorting office at RM or even shelf stacking in a supermarket but there is nothing like that at the moment which i find really odd given the time of year.

Have you tried any of the local call centres. Most of these operate on a 24/7 basis nowadays. When I was at Uni I worked in one of them 6pm-10pm Mon-Fri. Earned a few quid but was home in time to still meet my mates down the pub.

Try driving around your local industrial estates etc on a night time and make a note of all the places with people still working.

A friend in a similar position went to his local town with tens and tens of CVs and just gave them to every business he came across - bars, restaurants, shops etc.

Found some work pretty quickly in a pub.

It seems like you're putting the effort in checking on the Internet, but you sometimes have to get face to face and deal with people.

Someone might take pity on you hehe

You can search by location and distance, I think.
