How long it takes to revise for the GMAT is an opened ended question, all depends on your intelligence and aptitude at those style of tests. When I did mine many years back there were numerous sample test books available, give one of them a try and see what you score, then plan how to improve.

You may surprise yourself!

Cheers - I have installed the free GMAT testing software from mba.com or similar (official GMAT site) and have seen a few examples. Think my numerical reasoning may late me down so need to work on that.

At the moment, its the fear of the financial commitment that scares me, not the work.

In my current role, my ceiling comp will be between £100k and £150k within a few years. I am investigating whether an MBA at a top school would open doors to more interesting and varied work and more money or just more of the same elsewhere.
