Brand new order, had to rush of to work but back tomorrow to confirm and see if I can push for service plan to be included
21% off list on a factory order sounds like a cracking deal so well done with that! However, can I ask what size deposit you're having to put down to get a monthly repayment of £365/month; pretty substantial I assume? 365pcm 10k pa

That sounds a great deal, I work a stones throw from derby BMW . I'm trying to resist going in to look at a m135 due to fear I'd sign up on the spot. Trying to hold out til early next year..I hope 365pcm 10k pa

4k deposit but I've been speaking to a dealer in Kent so have some more ammunition for later todaySKM1984 said:
Happy days!
Order placed
Slightly amended the car to spec pro nav and remove elec seats and lumbar. They stuck at the same price of £29,401 but wouldn't discount anything else so service pack was £500 on top.

This looks like one of the best deals posted on here so far - good job!
How hard did you have to work for that sort of discount? It sounds like you put in a lot of leg work phoning round dealers etc.
If I was to walk into derby bmw and quote your deal would they likely match it on the spot, or would they make out it was a one off and make me work for it?

Potentially they would match it but don't quote me on that, I really did make them sweat and there was a few times where they said they can't do this and best of going elsewhere (I was pushing hard for closer to 330 a month originally)
Took me 3 trips and circa 4hrs in the dealer to finally get there excluding talking to Nottingham Sytner, Jardines in Milton keynes and a dealer on the babybmw forum.
All worth it though

There are obviously some cracking deals being done on new M135i’s and well done to those that have managed to secure one! However, I can’t help wondering why dealers are offering these levels of discount? Over 20% is mass market territory and, given the M135i is a relatively new model that has also been receiving very favourable press reviews, I’m just curious as to why dealers feel it necessary to discount them in this way; is the new car market bloody awful or do some of these dealers have September year-ends and hence are having a last minute push to reach quotas? Just seems strange that a desirable model from BMW is being discounted like a repmobile!

Year end targets in Sept and BMW also having set aggressive sales targets for the dealers to meet I'd guess. Dealers are probably thinking let's break even on units at worst case and get the year end sales target bonuses.SKM1984 said:
