No carbon airbox. Got a set of iffy looking DTM style mirrors and generally looks tired with a scruffy look and body colour change.
If that's well priced at £35K, the silver fully restored car a few pages back at £45K was a absolute bargain, if people are paying £25K for a bare shell.
If I had the money I would have bought it over the phone on the strength of the company that did it, and the claimed value of a bare shell.

I must have mixed up pic in the ones I saw and/or need to go to specsavers - apologies. That silver restored car was definitely a bit of a steal though, as you say.

E30M3SE, you should buy a lottery ticket today, £90,000 was a very good guess.

Bloody hell that's pricy!!

Dropped the "seller" a line and got the following response...

"Hi there, Thank you for the interest shown in my m3. From my experience the m3 is in great condition with no rust or dents. It shows 123,600 miles on the clock. A fine example if i can say. All paperwork such as V5c present in my name. I will sell it for £9000 including delivery to your address. It's located in Aberdeen. Find attached some photos.

We can completed this by PayPal

Kind Regards,
Seller"

And some pics.

I imagine seller works away but if you pay he'd happily arrange transportation. 🙄👎

Listings taken down now smile I found three for the same car, from two different sellers.

Here's the 'genuine' ebay ad from January this year. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/272550456960?

@stevesingo : Not sure why you posted the other pics, as it's pretty clearly a scam from the get-go. Any ebay ad which requests contact by direct email rather than ebay is pretty much 100% guaranteed dodgy.

Yes, for sure a scam, just thought I would dangle the bait and see how they would respond. As expected, the good old lines came out.

You have to wonder how many people (if any) actually fall for that scam? Especially with a niche vehicle like the e30 M3.

As a joke, I advertised my old M3 on a forum a few years ago, on April Fools Day.

Put it up for about 1/4 the market value and said I needed a quick sale.

If I was that way inclined, I think I could have had at least £25k in deposits from numerous people! eek

One even messaged me saying "I know it's probably an April fools joke, but if not, I can send a £1k deposit and collect at the weekend".

Quite scary to see the panic when someone thinks they are missing out on a bargain.

Nice looking car. Looks very original, right down to even looking like its on its original radiator/hoses and tank. What the hell is that box on the parcel shelf ?

A box housing additional, upgraded speaker I would imagine.

Looks horrendous. The parcel shelf is I think NLA now if its been hacked, although a regular E30 I think is the same. Its about the only thing that doesn't look right on the car, otherwise it has a nice patina of being used original.

The main section of the M3 rear shelf isn't quite the same as other E30s... on the M3 there's no centre seatbelt whereas the regular models have a socket for holding the centre lapbelt. So, you either have that or if you pull it out a patch of darker non sunbleached trim and a pin hole. Apologies for being anorak-y!
