This one has been discussed before I think. It has a couple of things that say Jap spec about it like the viscous fan,the rear number plate 4 mounting holes of US and Jap spec cars and different dash clocks.
Looks like someone has spent some money at the trim shop, but I'd guess painted all over without the door jambs being done . The front screen trim looks like it has some bubbles on the bottom edge which need checking out.

Certainly doesn't look as good as the seller appears to think it does.

The black D reg car doesn't even have a matching advert. One says 51K miles and the other says it has an estimated ( why estimated ? ) 116K ...
Car looks nothing special and just a bit tired and average of most of the £30-40K stuff advertised on PH. I think someone maybe waiting a long time to get £80K

The white car looks like a money pit.

That's long gone. No idea why sellers keep old adverts on PH. Should be automatically removed after 4 weeks.

Please tell me the purchaser also had a pre-inspection done when buying what I presume was an expensive car ?
HA! You would be surprised the amount of people who buy 'classics' without getting them inspected then having a post purchase inspection!

I once bought a hobby restored E30 M3 from auction..suffice it to say I would not do it again. So many details were wrong and lots of niggling failures like windows not working etc etc
Was it Henna red by any chance?

Yes..eventually all got sorted...but not the car a certain auction house claimed it to be. Went on to be sold by the same auction house again for even more money. Saying all that its nothing another 6k paint job and some fettling couldnt have fixed and it was super nice underneath (much better than up top!) and stil alot less than bringing a rusty one up to that level

If I were you I would roll my sleeves up and get the car back together with lots of photos and get professional help for the hard bits.
I can’t part with it so am going down this route. Won’t be doing that much myself, just the easy bits.
