So what do you reckon that Parkway car is worth then? It isn't low mileage or a UK car so I'm thinking nearer £100k ? I'm having withdrawal symptoms and could be tempted again in the Summer but £145k surely is daft as that would put a UK/low miler at £200k+ Having said that, wouldn't a Sport Evo be comparable in price to an Mercedes 190e Evo 2 and they're now £200k+ for the best of the best.....?

Typical car trader waffle!
They can't even spell Recaro correctly FFS!
Looks nice though, other than the baggy retrim.

75 large for a 130k E30 M3. What's the point at which you can't enjoy an M3 because you blew too much cash on it? If it was under 100k miles perhaps or am I completely out of touch with these now? 2 yrs since I looked for one.
Prices do definitely seem to have jumped up again, it seems to be hard to find a good usable one under £50k even in Europe these days. I guess the balance of usability vs. protecting investment is a personal thing; I buy cars to drive them as they were intended to be and use mine regularly on road and occasionally track days. For me any upside in value when I move a car on is a bonus, but there are several people using them purely as investments, some of whom are quite heavily leveraged financially to buy them and as a result are far too scared to drive them much in case it affects the resale value.
But as always the market will decide what that particular car is actually worth and even if it looks expensive today, it likely won't take long for prices to come up to that level and it'll look like the right money.
It's a shame that so few E30 M3 get used as intended any more. I'm taking mine to Spa and the Nurburgring later this year but am currently in debate with my insurers, who aren't keen to cover me despite my having specific track day cover and their never having stipulated specific tracks weren't covered ever before. My own M3 is insured for £75K but if the worst were to happen, I don't think I could replace it for that amount. Certainly not to the same spec' anyway. I have had a couple of offers recently but there's just nothing else I would want and I've made the mistake of selling before. Luckily I got back into one just before prices got silly.
I agree that prices have taken another jump recently but £75,000 for the Mantis car is just nuts in the current market.
I don't like the fact that it is missing it's original interior, fog lights missing, high mileage, non standard spoiler. At that price, the car needs to be lower mileage and original.
For £5000 less, this is the car that I would be buying. It looks gorgeous. Low miles and completely original....lovely.

I don't know what it is with those seats, but I think I've only ever seen pics of one M3 that's had a re-trim and it looks close to original, no one ever seems to get it right. Always looks a little disappointing when you see re-trimmed cars, they almost look a little fake, like a big chunk of originality is missing. Typical car trader waffle!

The car looks OK, nothing special other than it being a white Sport Evo clone. Not totally sure those few grands worth of parts bump it to £75K . Remove them and it would like more like £40K upwards car.

I love an E30 M3 as much as any of us here but (even if I had the cash) I couldn't bring myself to hand over £75K for that car. It's very nice but just too expensive.
likewise, its not going to be driven and will need major work anyway given the mileage, unless the engine is fresh. Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
