Minor bumper scratch F10 M5
Discussion
You'll get as many say they're ok as had problems.
I had chipsaway repair a minor scratch on my 996 many years ago.....twice which ended up in a respray of the rear end and the job being done properly. The problem is it's all down to the operator and the process is exactly what it is, it's not a bodyshop quality repair.
15 year old car fill yer boots, F10 M5 get the job done properly in my opinion

All down to who does the repair my local one is very good and does a great job, ask to speak to people they have done work for?
Many BMW Sales Teams will use smart repairers as they are cheaper and quicker than putting sales stock through their own repair shop!
Simply because BMW dealers use smart repairs doesn't mean the job is any good though! Many BMW Sales Teams will use smart repairers as they are cheaper and quicker than putting sales stock through their own repair shop!
In the same situation after some twunt jumped a set of lights, hit the offside rear & then did a runner.
After some careful polishing the finer scratches on the rear bumper & wheel have come out but still a few unsightly ones exist. Am tempted to go for a Dealer Smart repair as I'd assume a repair via them would have better recall that say Chipsaway & also would have better access to the correct paint codes.
Away for a couple of weeks & then off to Spa/Ring in the M5 so may wait until after that to get the repairs done
